The Honorable Minister Farrakhan - A Light Shines in the West

In next week's Final Call...

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan spent a few days in Los Angeles last week, primarily to attend the Celebration of Life for his dear friend and violin teacher, Maestro Charles Veal, Jr., who transitioned to the ancestors on January 23.

Minister Farrakhan gave a very special tribute to Maestro Veal, and all who witnessed this gift would testify it was a very special moment.

Find out what his tribute was in next week's Final Call.

I was very humbled and blessed to be able to greet the Minister back stage at the Nate
Holden Performing Arts Center.  (Thanks for the clearance Bro. Sultan!)  Special thanks also to photographer Malcolm Ali (shot the above pic of me and Min. Farrakhan) and Final Call intern, Angelita Muhammad, who helped to keep us both on point.

Min. Farrakhan addresses believers at Muhammad Mosque #27 as Western Region Student Minister Tony Muhammad stands by.

Mosque #27 was standing room only.  Thanks to the FOI who gave up their seats for the MGT to enjoy the Minister's visit comfortably.  I almost got a photo of the brothers stretched around the corner but just as I was headed out, the Minister and his team was headed in.  Needless to say, I cut and ran back to my seat.
