Obama, Blacks, & Agendas

On Saturday, March 20, Tavis Smiley, national social and political media commentator, will convene a stellar panel of Black leaders to discuss why he feels President Barack Obama needs to drive a Black agenda.  (Our own beloved Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will be a part of the discussion too, Allah willing.)

Leading up to the event, Mr. Smiley and Civil Rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton have had a very public, heated debate over what Black leaders are, or are not, demanding of the president.  But mainstream media and even some of our own people, would have you believe that they hate each other.  Not true!

I talked to them both and they have great admiration and respect for each other...they just have a difference of opinion on strategy on this one.

See what Rev. Sharpton, Mr. Smiley, author and syndicated columnist Dr. Anthony Asadullah Samad, Dr. Maulana Karenga, and others, have to say for themselves about the President's Black Agenda at www.finalcall.com.

Also please continue to support the Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) in your community. (SHOUT OUT TO THE L.A. PUSH CREW and all of our brothers across the Nation who take this paper to highways and by-ways!!!)
